More Slacht Features...

dot Miscellaneous Destinations: Misc Destinations are for adding destinations that can be used by other FreePBX modules, generally used to route incoming calls.

dot Music on Hold: This allows the user to configure the Music on Hold files that will be played. Different 'classes' of Music on Hold can be configured for use in different Queues. The idea behind this is that the “default” MOH is standard music, and different queues can have different hold music for the callers while they wait. Music files can be simply uploaded from the user's system if it is of a suitable format (.mp3 or .wav) and assigned to different queues, etc.

dot Queue Reporting: The reporting feature of an Asterisk IP-PBX system allows one to view call logs for all extensions in real time with search and filter parameters from the web admin panel. The most basic reporting feature will keep account of the date and time of calls, the channel used, the call source and destination, the disposition of the call as well as the call duration. If you are using our VoIP network we can provide real time billing so that you can view how much you're spending on telephone. Management and administration staff can also attain call statistics and information on telephone calls and activities. Details are available on all details of queues including abandoned calls, completed calls, hold time, average call duration, agent productivity and more. Graphical results of call volume and call completion are also available by daily or even hourly average. These tools are useful to ensure there are sufficient staff available for calls at all times.

dot Supervised Call Transfer: When Supervised Call Transfer takes place, the call which has come in is placed on hold and a call placed to another party; a conversation can take place privately between these two users before the caller on hold is connected to a new destination. Use *2 for supervised or attended call transfer. An alternative method of transferring calls is to use Blind Call Transfer.

dot Three Way Calling: Enables a user to make a three-way call with two parties, in which all parties can communicate with each other. To initiate a three-way call while engaged in a regular two-party call, the user presses the flash hook and dials a third party. Before or after the third party answers, the user presses the flash hook and forms a three-way call with the two parties. To drop the third party, the user presses the flash hook and is reconnected with the original party in a regular two-party call. If the user hangs up all parties are released.

dot Unlimited Extensions: With just a few clicks of the mouse you can create unlimited extensions and every one can be customized with unlimited options like DID (direct in dialing) privacy setting, name directory by spelling, outbound caller ID, voicemail settings, etc.

dot Voicemail: This feature enables users to record messages for incoming calls that are not answered within a specified number or rings, or receive the busy treatment. Separate messages for busy and unavailable can be recorded. Voice mail is stored as audio files on the Asterisk system. The voice mail messages can be retrieved by dialing the voice mail number from any remote phone, via a web interface or can be sent to the user by e-mail as a .wav file. By accessing Voice Portal from any phone, the user can listen, save, delete, pause, skip forward or back, reply to a message or be forwarded to one or more or to entire group members with introductory message.

dot Voicemail Groups: This feature lets you send the voice message to multiple people or a group of people, e.g. marketing, administration, finance, etc. Just dial the number of your group and leave a message and everyone in the group gets your new message.

dot Voicemail to E-mail: The user can receive their voicemail as an e-mail via a .wav file attached to the e-mail with a few clicks of a mouse without configuration POP3, SMTP, IMAP or Exchange. If available, the caller's name and number are also included in the e-mail subject line. Voicemail can be forwarded to e-mail on an ad-hoc or continuous basis, giving the user an easy-to-manage unified messaging system.

dot Zapateller: This application allows you to generate a special information tone (SIT) which is used to block telemarketers from calling. There are two available options:
  • answer: causes the line to be answered before the tone is played
  • nocallerid: the tone is played if there is no caller id available
The two options can be used together but must be separated by | in the command, i.e. Zapateller(answer | nocallerid). Zapateller can also be used if you wish to play this tone in other situations.
