Slacht's entire Hardware PBX range is built with leading hardware which has being extensively tested to ensure your phone system gives you the performance and reliability you need. The specification listed below is designed to suit the needs of small & medium sized businesses and leaves much room for future expansion. However if your phone system requires a more powerful configuration we can increase the specification of our box to match.

Capabilities

The Slacht PBX has two usable PCI slots and comes with a range of supported PRI, BRI and Analog interface cards. Depending on your needs you can choose which ever combination of cards best suits your needs.

During tests the Slacht PBX can take 263 calls per second or over 8,500 calls in a 30 second period. This means that the amount of calls your system can handle is not determined on the specification of your box but rather on the combination of interface cards you chose for your phone system. Each PRI card is capable of 120 simultaneous calls, each BRI card is capable of 8 and each Analog card is capable of 4.

2 Analog cards allowing 8 Analog channels & 8 simultaneous calls

VOIP:

Similar to PSTN connections the amount of VoIP channels you can have at any one time does not depend on the hardware specification of your PBX but rather it depends on the amount of bandwidth available to the PBX. A standard VoIP call (using our preferred G711 Codec) will use approximately 16kB per second.
